  3. I am an Egyptian ,and I like the way you did the recipe .
    Simply we use Egyptian rice (it’s very small) and also we useย ridged pasta tubes (but of course it is okay if you choose any kind of them) ,and beside the koushari we make 2 kinds of tomato sauce : a very spicy one and a normal one without chili powder but we add cumin instead of cinnamon. But I am gonna try it by adding cinnamon. Good Jobย 

  4. It looks delicious and just out of curiosity I would taste it if I were a tourist in Egypt, but this is a bomb of starches and carbohydrates and I wouldn’t eat it too often.

    1. Iam egyption .. i eat kushari like 3 or 4 days in a week and i never gain weight๐Ÿ˜‚ its so addicting .. u shoulf taste it๐Ÿ‘

    2. +kim Abdulrahman Well that depends on how much you sport weekly. I am Egyptian eat every week kushari and sport 1 hour and run 2 hours for 4 days a week always.

  5. This is a very good recipe but the liquid measurements for the lentils and rice is a bit off.ย  I had to use 6 cups of water instead of four, because the lentils dried too quickly.
    It turned out deliscious and thank you very much!
