    1. +KeefCooks Mhm, you’re right about that actually. Still, as far as I know: any recipe that calls for cream or evaporated milk instead of condensed milk requires a thermometer. Bearing in mind that I’ve never actually /not/ used a thermometer, in my experience using condensed milk is the easiest method and also the easiest to deal with.

    2. Biscuit Seller yeah that’s why condensed milk is already made with milk and is heavy enough for sugar so that it needs less time to cook cause it’s already condensed sufficiently and set easily fast with the recipe instead of evaporating milk with thermometer mess and takes a lot of cooking time

    1. Maha Abbas there was no cream was used in this, only milk & condensed milk. Hope this helps you.

  1. What can I used when I live somewhere where you can’t get condensed cream?

    1. you can make your own. take whole milk (reduced fat will not work) and cook it down slowly, do NOT boil with equal parts of sugar and cook it down by half. stir constantly and keep heat low, if steam is coming off milk it’s getting too hot

  2. “The fact is we’re making caramel fudge not salad so get over it”. That had me in tears πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
