200 gm boneless chicken breast chopped
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp ginger-green chilly crushed
10- 15 cloves of chopped garlic
1/4 cup chopped assorted bell peppers
1/3 cup carrots, chopped
1/3 cup green cabbage, chopped
2 tbsp light soy sauce
Salt and pepper as required
3 cups water for chicken stock
2 tbsp corn flour
1 eggย 
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 chicken stock cube optional
1/2 cup fried noodles

In a pot of cold water add in chicken breast, carrots, garlic, salt, chicken stock cube and cook for 12-15 minutes.
Once cooked, skim the impurities risen on the top and blanch the noodles in the stock and partially boil them.
Shallow fry the noodles in the oil until crisp and keep aside.
In the same oil add ginger-green chilli crush, garlic, chopped vegetables and stir fry them.
Then add the chicken stock, soy sauce, salt, pepper and boil on high flame.
Shred the chicken breast and add it to the boiling soup.
Beat an egg and add it to the soup followed by corn flour slurry as a thickener.
Finally, add coriander leaves and delicious hot Chicken Manchow Soup is ready to serve!

  2. Good recipe… but just to add.. Buy chicken bones is much more economical then buying boneless chicken breasts…

    1. well said, i usually buy chicken bones coz they already have the amount of flesh required for soup. Plus when u boil the bones, u can use that water for soup.. more delicious ๐Ÿ˜€
