  1. hi I have a question, how do you or will you teach your daughter and sons about their Asian and black history? I find a lot of adoptive parents don’t take the time to teach the kids about that. at the end of the day despite the fact that your son’s have white parents they are still black and Asian who have a history and culture of their own that they should know especially your two sons who let’s face it will experience racism at some point, they should know what people like them went through and I mean Beyond Martin Luther King, But anyway I love your videos and your family

    1. I can’t remember which video but they have addressed this in a video. They’ve talked about deliberately living in a more diverse neighbourhood amongst other things 🙂

    2. Yes, she’s said before in many other vlogs that she currently fully intends to continue teaching and celebrating all of her kids culture. They have black friends who are positive role models for the boys and not to mention their own father who is genuine and involved in all of the kids lives. I’m sure they do the same for Rosie.

    3. They currently and fully intend on continuing the teaching of all the kids’ cultures…also I’m sure they may do more but I’m speaking about what they have shared in a 15 minute vlog. Remember we do not see everything.

    4. You are 100% correct. When our children walk out our door, they are black or asian, having white parent’s doesn’t change that. Sadly, we have already experienced racism, even at their young ages. This is not something we take lightly, and celebrating our children for who they are, appreciating where they come from, and understanding that they will face unique challenges, are all things we work on daily. As someone stated below, we only share a small portion of our lives here. Many of the places we go, people we see etc are never filmed or put on Youtube. Transracial adoption is not something we entered into lightly, and we are prepared to walk the hard roads with our kids.

    5. +This Gathered Nest if you have time you might want to check out a channel called ‘BenDeen’ he is now 26, he has a few videos where he talks about his experience/perspective of being adopted with white parents. His most recent video is called ‘growing up adopted’. You might find it interesting. 😉 btw, I really enjoy all your videos! You are an amazing mum! 😊👍🏻

  2. Just discovered you recently and I am loving you already 🤗 Ps: Lots of Love from Switzerland

  3. Watching from Germany! We “only” have the day we reunited as a country after the 2nd world war, which is the 3rd of october. Your family is so precious and the kids are all super adorable! <3 <3 <3

    1. I’m from Germany too :)Aber schade eigentlich, dass der 3. Oktober bei uns nicht so richtig gefeiert wird… :/

    1. That’s great you are inspired! The seeds are being planted. God will make them grow, if it is His will.

    1. When I saw that little paddling pool I wondered if one of the kids would try and practice their swimming safety skills. Was so funny and cute to see Noah doing that, his chilled face whilst floating on his back was so cute and funny lol!

  4. Where am I ? China , village of Beishicao 55km north of Beijing . Retired Australian guy , working as a volunteer at orphanages and NGOs here . Came as a tourist , visited an orphanage as a tourist , and decided to stay and help China .
Just discovered your vlog today because one of the children I have known for a couple of years was adopted last week , and I wanted to see what his life would be like henceforth .
I see good people adopting and it is a win – win for all involved .
    Good work 🙂
